WHY $BTRD

Most tokens are a logo attached to a hope. This one is a key to a venue. Every utility below is enforced by the trustless darkpool contract — not by a roadmap.

01

ACCESS

The darkpool is token-gated at the contract level. Posting a block requires minPost, filling one requires minFill — checked onchain in the same transaction as settlement. No token, no execution. The gate can't be faked, scraped around, or begged past: the contract is the bouncer.

02

VIP DARKPOOL

Blocks flagged VIP are a second, quieter room. Holding the minVip threshold unlocks seeing them in the terminal and — enforced onchain — the right to post and fill them. The biggest size migrates to where fewer eyes are. Access to that flow is the product.

03

FEE ECONOMICS

The protocol takes 0.5% of the quote side of every settled block — hard-capped at 1% in the contract, forever. Fee flow scales with settled volume, not with hype. A share of fees is routed to market buybacks of the token once the gates are live — volume becomes bid.

04

SUPPLY & LAUNCH

Fair launch on Pons, Robinhood Chain's launchpad. Fixed 1B supply, no presale, no team allocation, tradeable from block one on a bonding curve that graduates into a Uniswap v4 pool at 4.2 ETH raised. A creator tax on every curve trade flows to the treasury — the second fee stream behind the darkpool's own, funding the buybacks.

THE GATES — WHAT THE CONTRACT ACTUALLY CHECKS

GateWhat it controlsStatus
minPostMinimum token balance to post a block into the darkpool. Your escrow, your price, your expiry — but you hold the key to the door.SET AT GRADUATION
minFillMinimum balance to fill anyone's block. Takers are gated too — the whole venue is holders-only once gates are live.SET AT GRADUATION
minVipThe VIP tier. See, post, and fill hidden blocks. The highest threshold — deliberately. VIP is meant to be earned, not farmed.SET AT GRADUATION
cancelNever gated. Makers can always reclaim their escrow — your funds are never hostage to a threshold.ALWAYS OPEN

STRAIGHT TALK

Read this before you ape:
  • The darkpool contract is an unaudited v1. Escrow logic is intentionally simple (single file, no upgradability, no admin power over funds) — but unaudited means unaudited. Size accordingly.
  • Gates are dormant at launch and flip on after graduation (4.2 ETH raised on the Pons curve), on a schedule announced publicly. Until then the book runs open: flow first, walls second.
  • Onchain state is public. VIP visibility is gated in the terminal; VIP execution is gated by the contract. A chain-reader can see block metadata — truly sealed blocks (commit-reveal auctions) are the v2.
  • The only official contract address is the one on this site and in the pinned post. Anything else is not us.
  • The token is a utility key to a venue, not a claim on profits, not equity, not a promise of number-go-up.
